All we can do on the earth is love generously and hope that we are given the same in return. None of us is perfect. That’s why wedding vows include the words ‘for better or for worse’. Scripture tells us ‘above all, love each other deeply because love covers over a multitude of sins’. But perhaps it misses something. In order to truly love and be loved, you must love all of someone, including their most difficult truths. Perhaps especially those truths.
